Dr. Partha Banerjee, president of The Scriptline, Inc., is a writer, editor, researcher and consultant, with many years of experience to work with diverse business leaders as well as philanthropic, cultural, entertainment and sports organizations. His work is known for its quality, precision, wide impact and also its multimedia component: he’s used the various media forms effectively, both as a newsmaker and producer.

Dr. Banerjee’s writing and research as well as his nationwide philanthropic work received wide media coverage. Over the years, he’s been interviewed or quoted by the New York Times, New Jersey Star-Ledger, New York Newsday, New York Daily News, Radio Pacifica, Z-Magazine, Fox TV, NY1-TV, Voice of America, BBC, National Swedish Radio, Deutsche Welle Radio, Commondreams, and other mainstream, alternative and ethnic media in U.S., Europe and South Asia. Partha has earned an M.Sc. in journalism from
Columbia University and a Ph.D. in biology from Southern Illinois University. He has published two books and is now putting together a third manuscript. He has written numerous articles – scholarly papers, op-eds, news stories, non-fictions and fictions, and spoke at conferences and events in U.S., Canada, Europe, Bangladesh and India. A film and media expert, Partha writes feature- and documentary movie reviews. He is a first-generation U.S. citizen from Calcutta, India, and now lives in Brooklyn, New York
. Partha is fluent in Bengali and Hindi, and has learned preliminary Spanish and French.

Other than spending a vast amount of time on The Scriptline, Inc. – which he established in early 2003 – he works as the development director and board member for a few non-profit organizations, and also teaches English Writing and Effective Communication at the State University of New York.
